BIG BEAR WEEKEND

Ok so I've been lagging again!!! Just been busy with the daily routines... Big Bear FUN!!!!! The Majeda Family (Mahood's + Grajeda's) spent a weekend in the Snow!!!

Lil David takes time out to pose for a picture. Daddy and Uncle Andrew set up a little snow slide behind him infront of our cabin...It had the kids busy.

We did get to get away for a weekend a couple of weekends a go. We had a blast playing in the SNOW!!! We packed up and left saturday morning and got into Big Bear around 9:30. The weather was perfect.. It was cold but not Freezing and the sun was out. There was plenty of snow every where!! These pictures of the kids were taken at our cabin. We didn't have to go far for the kids to play. Destiny and Julia Playfully have a snow ball fight!

Walking distance from our cabin is a mountain that we were able to go sledding on. It's a nice little private spot perfect for times like this!! Off season it's also cool to hike on. David and Andrew made a path for us and we each took turns coming down. We came down faster then it looked.

Christmas ' 07

Christmas is all about family and kids. We spent Christmas Eve at our house. My Mother, Grandfather, Brother, Sister n law and nieces' came over for dinner. The kids had a great time playing together.

Lil David going through his stocking from Grandma. My mom has made special stockings for each of her grandchildren. Destiny and Isabella going through there's.
Eloriana trying to figure out what to do with hers..... She eventually pulled out a couple of gifts, but had a better time chewing on the gift tags and wrapping paper. She's 9 months and still teething. Christmas morning the kids woke us up around 7...not to early. The Two were so excited and their faces were priceless. Lil David's big present from Santa was a 4x4 power wheeled fire jeep! He loves that thing....

Destiny got the very famous and entertaining Wii...... She loves that thing...well actually we all do! We have been spending most of our vacation time playing that thing. Our favorite is the Tennis game (on Wii sports)..... 2nd would be Shooting Gallery (on the Carnival Games) and 3rd Dodge ball (Playground) Destiny is very good at Bowling and has a pro level of over 1000 points which gave her a cool looking bowling ball to use. I'm a little jealous my score is in the 800's so I'm working on catching up.

Christmas day my husband's side of the family came over for a traditional Christmas dinner that my sister n law cooked. Here's a picture of Destiny, Ashley, Alisson and David opening their presents from their Auntie Mel and Uncle Drew.
It was a Fun and Tiring day.... We were all a little sore after playing wii....

Tree Trimming

Saturday Dec 8th was my grandparents annual tree trimming party. All their kids,grand kids and great grand kids get together and decorate their tree. Each family brings goodies to share and we all gather to decorate and listen to Christmas carols. Plus its one of the few times out of the year that we are aloud in the living room.

We had a smaller crowd this year... The boys of the family were occupied with other activities... maybe next year

My Rock Band

The COOLEST game ever! My cousin got the new Rock Band video game for his PS3. I had such a great time pretending that I could sing (My scores weren't so bad LOL). It was so hard to stop playing and take turns. I also tried playing the drums, but soon learned my hand eye coordination isn't the greatest so I stuck to singing! :) Dave even sang a little too....
